Two Wolves

One evening an old man told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside all people.

He said, ‘My son, the battle is between two ‘wolves’ inside us all.

 One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.

 The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, freedom and faith.’

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather: ‘Which wolf wins?’

The old man simply replied, ‘The one you feed.”

What is the difference?  Is energy and our spirit the same thing?  Are we using different words to point to the same thing?

As we know, science and spirituality are merging and coming closer and closer together in their theories or thoughts and beliefs.  We are alive at this time, to experience a significant change in the world where there is a coming together of different thoughts, different disciplines and people.

One of Einstein’s great insights was to realize that matter and energy are really different forms of the same thing. Matter can be turned into energy, and energy into matter. E=MC2

So does this point to our physical body as matter, can be turned into energy?

And where is the source to this energy?

Many describe it or point to it as a universal life force, or source energy.

Good health is the key to a happy and contented life. If we think of
health we make health our companion. If we think of our bodies as
weak and diseased, the power of our own negative
thought-conditioning is prone to be out pictured in our bodies as
weakness and disease.

It is said that we draw to us the conditions we are predominantly
thinking about. In what has become a classic, author Earl
Nightingale refers to what he calls “The Strangest Secret,” which
is: “We become what we think about.”

He goes on to say that it’s not really a secret at all because it
has been repeated throughout the ages in different ways. In the
book of Proverbs we read, “As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.”
Among many references to this “secret” Jesus said, “According to
your faith, be it done unto you” and “As you sow, so shall you
reap” and “Ask and it shall be given you; seek and you shall find;
knock and it shall be opened unto you.”

What an amazing experience I had yesterday on Truly Alive Radio with Yolaine Stout.  We were discussing spiritual solutions to healing and depression more specifically.

Yolaine had 3 episodes of major depression and each one ended in a miraculous physical healing also.  How does that happen?  (Listen to her story on Truly Alive radio to the right on this page).

I believe when we are in a tug of war between our spirit self and our ego self .  When we are in perfect alignment with our spirit self and all that is, God, universe whatever you want to call it, miracles happen.  This is a natural occurance when we are in this state of being.  I believe in miracles every moment.  I believe we were born to express our God self through our physical experience.

When we become distracted by our thoughts and our mind, we are unable to hear our true self speaking to us. 

Spiritual Solution to Healing is there one??

This is a question that we could ponder, analyze, discuss and never intellectually grasp the answer.  Intellectually the mind cannot grasp the depth of the question or answer.  When we think things out we use such a limited aspect of our selves.  The mind is limited in its capacity to search the depths of our entire being.  The mind wasn’t created for this.  The mind is used in our finite reality of the world, not the infinite of the universal mind.

The universal mind as I talk about it here is the ALL…is the everything….is all of energy….is God.

And this is beyond the mind, beyond thought or belief…

So a spiritual solution to healing disease in some way, is beyond our mental capacity.

1.  Develop a spiritual practice so you can experience your higher self…your God-self………..

“I choose to live in Easy World where everything is easy!”

This week I had the wonderful opportunity to spend an hour with Julia Rogers Hamrick on Truly Alive radio talking about living in Easy World.  The time we spent felt like five minutes.  The energy was explosive.  It even crashed her computer while we were doing the show.  These are signs….signs of what you ask…..Living In EASY WORLD!

It was fun, exciting, easy, flowing, joyful, informative , loving and giving all the things life is meant to be.  This is exactly how life was meant to be for ALL of us ALL the time.  Whoo hoooo!

So what is Easy World?  These are Julia’s words…………….

Consciousness is not in the body; the body is in Consciousness. And you & I, we are that Consciousness

For so long I thought I was my body, but then there was me watching my body.  If I was watching my body, my body wasn’t me.  I was someone outside of my body.

 I also would watch all these crazy, scary thoughts go through my mind.  I would start thinking about cancer growing through my body, and what if it had spread to all my organs.  What if my cancer had spread to my brain?  Is this the end of my life here?  What is going to happen?  Am I going to suffer terribly in pain?  My poor kids, they didn’t need to see their mommy wasting away and being eaten up by cancer. 

Your Inspiration:  Never Forget

Your presence is a gift to the world,
You’re unique and one of a kind.
Your life can be what you want it to be –
Take it one day at a time.

Count your blessings, not your troubles,
And you will make it through what comes along.
Within you are so many answers,
Understand, have courage, be strong.

Don’t put limits on yourself,
Your dreams are waiting to be realized.
Don’t leave your important decisions to chance –
Reach for your peak, your goal, and your prize.

Nothing wastes more energy than worrying –
The longer a problem is carried, the heavier it gets.
Don’t take things too seriously –
Live a life of serenity, not a life of regrets.

Life’s treasures are people…together.

What was trying to get my attention?  Who was trying to get my attention?

What is really ME?  The me I thought didn’t know any of this energy stuff.

I thought I was me, my body, but there was another me, watching all of this.  Who am I?

At this point I realized I was more than my physical body, because I was really the observor of my physical body.  As I began to explore this, I realized that the energy of me was flowing through my physical body.  I became aware of this energy when I would visualize my cancer cells destroyed by this beautiful white light.  I would lay quiet and still and imagine this light penetrating every cell, tissue, organ of my body.  My body felt alive, light and no kidding, I would be free of my pain.  I wanted to stay in this space forever, but obviously I had to move and live in this world.

Find the miracle in every moment and interaction…this is a beautiful example of why we are here!!

We don’t know how many lives we REALLY touch each day by the words we say or the little things we do, or the smile we carried on our face.  Truly the smallest actions can have a profound effect on another person.  Our lives are to be shared with all the living souls around us.  We are hear to express the love we are, in human form.  We are God expressed in a physical body.

We have the capability to change the world….we have the capability to create peace……we have the capability to have unlimited abundance.

Do you believe this?  Do you KNOW this?

Having faith is the deep knowing that all that we are experiencing is for our highest good.  We don’t have to doubt.  It is our birthright.  We just forgot…..remember who YOU are.
