In thinking about what I was told, the truth rang out to me.  See how it feels to you.

This is a human dilemna….we live with so much fear that separates us from our inherit greatness.

You can insert any word in the place of “illness” and it still feels true to me.  So whatever it is you are dealing with, take these wise words and use them in your life…….

“Yes I am your angel & I am with thee at your side. I have heard your question about fear ….

You fear what you can not see and you separate yourself from what it is that you are…which is  pure light  and oneness with that light.

You go outside of yourself and allow yourself to feel the unknown as fear.  

You are the light of awareness separating yourself from the light of Christ
and holding on to what you fear…… illness and loneliness and freedom. ”
 
“How do you let go of these things we hold on to?” 

“You need to speak to the part of yourself that knows who you are and what you are.  Believe you are well…….. believe you are hope…….. and believe you are righteousness in what you are as a human. 

You are not your illness, but you still believe you are.   You need to go within and tell your  illness to be gone in the name of  love and feel yourself release that fear of illness that you believe is part of what you are.

You are not the illness……….you are the butterfly that waits to be released from the hold that you have put on yourself.    You are within the cocoon of freedom waiting to be set free!!!!!

Speak to yourself  and say “I release you in the name of love” .  Release it into Gods Hands with love.

Separate yourself from the illness, you are not alone. The angels are with you!  Take this and make this real.”

I wonder what today will bring…

I wonder what I really want to do right now….

I wonder what my greatest gift to the world is….

I wonder how I feel about…..

I wonder if I should call__________….

These simple phrases allow you to stop…it opens you and helps you to feel and get a glimspe of the answer.  All our answers are within us.  Often we act or react to something someone says or what someone wants or wants us to do, without really stopping to check in what is the best for ME!  When we react we are acting on autopilot..we are going through the motions without a clear direction and without lining up with our true wants and desires.

 I love what Neale Walsh says about reacting…He says when we are in REACTION we are not seeing clearly or acting with clarity.  We act with clarity when we are lined up with the true us, the us within, the power within, our true self.  So reaction is based on something outside of ourselves.  But when we are in CREATION mode, we are responding with clarity.  We are responding to something by first checking in, finding our answers and lining up with our truest self and true desires.

REACTION        vs         CREATION             There is only one difference in these words…and that is the letter C.

So when we “C” clearly we are the creators of our reality.

So stop today and ask I wonder…….and watch what unfolds.  Practice…this is a habit to develop and use to create what you want in your life.

As we wonder we talk about the facts and then we tend as humans to want to blame someone.  Who is to blame? 

When we blame we are actually pushing our energy out on someone else or out into the world.  Our energy could be a feeling or a thought.  If we have a thought about the event, it is an energy within us.  This is the time we can look within ourselves to find where the thought may also be true in our lives.  Now I am not saying any of us have been in this type of situation, but the thought or feeling is within us for a purpose.  What is the purpose?

It is an opportunity for us to look at our stuff, our life and where do we feel, think or act in a similar way.  It is an opportunity for us to become more aware of the energy within us and release it.

As you may already know, a horrific event occurred October 9th in the desert near Sedona, Arizona at a retreat led by James Arthur Ray, well-known author and personal development guru. Two people died immediately and another died this weekend after participating in a questionably executed sweat lodge. Almost two dozen others were hospitalized with illnesses ranging from dehydration to kidney failure.

I don’t wish to lay blame–others will be doing that, and it’s strictly an ego exercise to do so. But I did want to communicate one important message in light of the outcome: Never, ever obey anyone’s authority over that of your Spirit.

If someone seems to know more than you do, have achieved more than you have, have obtained what you want to have, or seems more enlightened than you believe you are, it is not a signal to abdicate your own sense of knowing to subject yourself to his or hers. Partake of their ideas, yes, if you’re attracted, and try them on to see if they fit for you–or not.

If you are receiving any internal signals that something is wrong–or even not quite right, or just simply not a match for you–pay attention and heed those signals. You don’t have to prove anything to anyone–even to yourself. Don’t let your own fearful ego lead you astray in a quest for something it’s telling you that you haven’t got. Ego is a consummate liar and will sell you down the river in a heartbeat.

All knowledge is already yours. All your desires are already yours, even if you aren’t yet experiencing that. But the way to realize and manifest them into your reality is to follow your Spirit to the vibrational level where you can claim them. And you can’t do that if you’re busy following someone else. Or a group of someone elses. Or your own ego. Following anyone other than your own Spirit will lead you down in vibration.

If you find yourself caught up in group energy, something that often occurs due to the longing to feel the energy of being at one with your fellow human beings, pay special attention. You may find yourself willing to do things and take risks you’d never take if your energy was centered within yourself and not in the composite mind of the group.

I am somewhat painfully familiar with that dynamic because I once found myself streaking naked across my college campus after getting so caught up in the pack mentality and energy, I was compelled to join the streaking crowd. In that case, the only deleterious effect was a photograph of the back of me in my birthday suit (blessedly, with a shirt over my head) that showed up on the front page of the city’s newspaper.

And here’s one I have been learning the hard way: If your body is telling you to back off whatever you are doing instead of pushing, listen and obey. Ease your way into growth–don’t force your way into it.

As a spiritual teacher, I take my responsibility to influence very seriously. For me, having your attention is a sacred trust and I am intent on keeping my ego in check to keep that relationship clear. Starting with the experience I tell about in the introduction to Recreating Eden, I have been continually shown that rejecting all authority outside one’s own being, and honoring the voice of Spirit within is the very key to reaching the highest level of vibration and experiencing enlightenment.

My Spirit has always made sure I understood that trying to assert any authority over a person’s own inner guidance, no matter how right my ego may tell me I am, is a ticket to disaster. My desire is to empower you to listen to your Spirit and be yourSelf, not to get you to take what I have to say as being the gospel. You don’t need a guru–you have one within.

I can only imagine the pain that James Ray is in right now, not to mention the loved ones of those who died or who were otherwise injured. I could be wrong, but it seems to me that all involved may have stopped listening to their inner guidance. Then again, that is an ego-based judgment, based on limited evidence. Everything is in Divine Order, even when we don’t like what Divine Order looks like at any given moment.

The take-away as I see it is this: Anyone who urges you to deny your internal signals so as to expand and evolve may just be, without even realizing it, asking you to risk your life. Anyone who tells you they can show you the way to Nirvana who isn’t emphasizing that your Spirit is your only true authority is under the influence of ego and can’t be trusted (only your Spirit can be trusted). But don’t take my word for it–ask your own Spirit if this is true.

“We can and ought to love everything around us, our family, our friends and each stranger, indiscriminately, as we love ourselves.

If we cannot love and serve those close to us we have nothing.

 We love not by feeling or thinking but by doing, by being love and in being love we know that we are here to serve the One, the All, because when we serve that is when we are love.

We are able to choose love over the self, over the ego, and that is true freedom, not whether we have the right to vote or to speak up or to get angry or to be naughty or to earn a living or to be happy.

If our concept of love is distorted then we have forgotten to serve. Why is there that conception that the mother or father is the one whose love is the purest?  Is it because they serve their children above themselves?

 We can apply this concept to all, without being radical about it, just in the smallest of things, through this we are able to allieviate the suffering which most of our brothers and sisters are living with each day, each hour, and to do so in those moments where and when we can.

Love in One, love above All.”

As we know, science and spirituality are merging and coming closer and closer together in their theories or thoughts and beliefs.  We are alive at this time, to experience a significant change in the world where there is a coming together of different thoughts, different disciplines and people.

One of Einstein’s great insights was to realize that matter and energy are really different forms of the same thing. Matter can be turned into energy, and energy into matter. E=MC2

So does this point to our physical body as matter, can be turned into energy?

And where is the source to this energy?

Many describe it or point to it as a universal life force, or source energy.

Universal life energy permeates every living thing, including the air, our planet, the atmosphere and all of nature. The flow of this energy connects everything that exists, and is being constantly absorbed by humans at every moment. It is naturally flowing through us and we are this energy.

Therefore we are energy and we have a source of energy flowing through us at all times.  Is this source God?

Now while it is naturally flowing through us, we can increase the inward flow should we be feeling drained, want to heal ourselves or others, or are doing specific energy work. This vital energy is what keeps us alive and healthy so the ability to increase it at will is a good thing to know.

I believe that our physical realm, our physical system, our physical body is an extension of our spirits and spiritual realm.

So is our spirit energy?

Yolaine had 3 episodes of major depression and each one ended in a miraculous physical healing also.  How does that happen?  (Listen to her story on Truly Alive radio to the right on this page).

I believe when we are in a tug of war between our spirit self and our ego self .  When we are in perfect alignment with our spirit self and all that is, God, universe whatever you want to call it, miracles happen.  This is a natural occurance when we are in this state of being.  I believe in miracles every moment.  I believe we were born to express our God self through our physical experience.

When we become distracted by our thoughts and our mind, we are unable to hear our true self speaking to us. 

Yolaine believes depression is….

“A symptom, not a diagnosis. The suffering comes from the repeated wounds inflicted upon our hearts by thoughts and beliefs that are not in harmony with our authentic, spiritual nature. The lack of energy is battle fatigue from the war being waged between our hearts and our heads. It’s our spirit’s desperate way of boycotting our actions – a last ditch effort to get us to change.  Your head may want to give up, but your spirit never will.”

Our spirit is screaming out to us, to be recognized, to be listened to and we ignore it.  It is gently guided us along our path and we are not listening.  We think, feel and act in opposition to our true nature.  And that is love, joy, harmony, peace, compassion….. Then what happens……???  We get tired, we get sick, we lose our job, we experience bad relationships….. All of which is part of our physical expression and experience here on earth.

Can we change our experience?

Yolaine says, “Most depression is a spiritual problem that requires a spiritual solution.  Thoughts of hopelessness, when our spirits are visionary optimists, drag us down. Thoughts of control, manipulation and victimization,  when our spirits rejoice in self empowerment, enslave us. Negative, angry and judgmental thoughts, when our spirits are made of unconditional love, mire us in mud. Thoughts of powerlessness, when our spirits need creative expession,  chain us to the wall.  Thoughts of fear and worry, when our spirits have nothing to fear, keep us in darkness.  Thoughts of shame or guilt,  when our spirits teach forgiveness and compassion,  keep us trapped.”

So if our spirits are optimistic, empowered, unconditional love, freedom, compassion can we use our spirit to heal?

Is there really a spiritual solution to disease?  Is there a spiritual solution to cancer??????

And if so how do we do it?

For so long I thought I was my body, but then there was me watching my body.  If I was watching my body, my body wasn’t me.  I was someone outside of my body.

 I also would watch all these crazy, scary thoughts go through my mind.  I would start thinking about cancer growing through my body, and what if it had spread to all my organs.  What if my cancer had spread to my brain?  Is this the end of my life here?  What is going to happen?  Am I going to suffer terribly in pain?  My poor kids, they didn’t need to see their mommy wasting away and being eaten up by cancer. 

If I wasn’t careful, these thoughts could take me away for a long time.  It is as if the thoughts actually had life or energy themselves, because they kept going.  It almost seemed that they were growing.  Could that be?

Now you think of a time when you were thinking, thinking, and thinking.  Many times it happens as you are trying to go to sleep and you can’t stop your thoughts.  They take you over sometimes for hours or all night.  With those thoughts come worry, fear, anger, anticipation, guilt and many other emotions that don’t feel good.

These emotions have energy too, that flows through you.  If it is negative, think of all the negative energy flowing through you at a time you want to be peaceful and sleep.

As I watched my thoughts, I realized I couldn’t be my thoughts or my mind, because I was watching them.  I was something other than just my thoughts.  I was not my mind.  Who was this ME?

If I was not my body and I was not my thoughts, then I was something outside of them or something other or in addition to them.  If that was the case, then I must have some control or power over my body and my thoughts.  I was something other than my thoughts or my body.  I was body, mind and spirit.

I knew then I had control over my destiny.  I could change my physical body, my thoughts and emotions.  I realized I was more powerful than I ever knew and I had control over what I experienced.  For my entire life, I had thought life was happening to me, that it was outside of me.  I didn’t think I could control what happened to me and what I experienced. 

Then I remembered what Jesus said, that life was at hand, inside all of us.  He said heaven was within each of us.  Is this what He was trying to remind us of?  Had we really forgotten?

God is within each of us.  God says we were created in the likeness and image of Him.  He is in us and us in Him.  We are part of God.

So was this me observing the different parts of me, part of God?  Was this the piece of me that was God?

WOW!!  If that was true…..I knew anything was possible!

Little did I know where this journey would end.  I guess I still don’t, and it doesn’t matter.  I am learning to enjoy the adventure.  Resting in the knowingness that the perfect experience will happen today or NOW.

This new year began with a knowingness from within to start cleansing my physical body.  I followed my heart and had no idea where this journey would take me.  At the time, I had no plans for a trip to Tulum.  I only felt a need to clean out the old and begin putting clean, healthy nutrients back in a clean body.

When we remove the old (no matter what it is) there is room available for the new.  This is true in cleaning out old clothes, or dealing with a painful experience, or facing a negative relationship, or any experience in life.  The cleansing began to prepare the way for removing  the old and making room for something new.

When we listen and trust God leads us and guides us on our journey.  I was ready to listen and trust that my next step would be provided.

I was cleaning my intestines and colon and eating good organic food, when the opportunity landed at my door to go to Tulum.  See the first Tulum Story. 

My body was prepared for the experiences in Tulum.  I was able to physically endure the exercises including yoga, pilates and cardio.  I was mentally clearer to be present.  Being present in conversations with the other women, with yoga, or my healing sessions, or in the sweat lodge all allowed me to truly be there and experience it.  I was clearer as emotions came up I was able to feel, see and experience them.  So I could let them go forever.

A calm and peace appears as we are present and connected to God and our true self.  This awareness is comforting and peaceful.  We are able to see and know things we didn’t before.  Answers to questions appear, and guidance on decisions is available. 

So this was an amazing plan.  Not a plan I was consciously aware of, but a plan that I trusted and followed.  Tulum was a healing and growth process.   I feel as if I shedded another layer or layers of “stuff” I have been carrying around this human body.  As I shed more “stuff”,  New “stuff” arrives.  I anxiously wait for more new stuff.  What do I mean by stuff???

Well new exciting experiences are coming my way, new rewarding relationships, new opportunities to do what I love, new opportunities to help other people, new information I never heard about……..the list goes on and on.

This is life! So let’s enjoy the adventure together!

My heart hurts for them.  I feel their pain and sadness.  I remember being at that very place and time in my life.  I lived it too.

Then I want to shout from the rooftop, “They can be a cancer survivor too!”

As a cancer survivor and speaker, I want to share with everyone the hope available to them, for them to reach out and grab. I want to tell them all the information available for them to heal body, mind and spirit.  I want to share the natural cancer treatments for a cancer survivor.  It is energy spilling out of me as I meet people.

And then I stop (and let me tell I don’t always stop) more on that later………..

Not everyone is ready to hear. Not everyone is ready for a cancer survivor story. I know each person has their journey to take and I pray they find peace on that journey.

I want to be their friend and help them.
