Survive Cancer with Food

My good friend has been talking about getting a tray of sprouts every week and using them in her green juice drinks.  I was at her home and got to enjoy her green drink one day.  It tasted green like vegtables, not delicious, like I needed more, but tolerable.  I could drink it every day.  She loves it!

So I have been thinking more and more about the power of food.  A couple days ago, I wrote about the power of omega 3 and how the lack of them has really contributed to the cancer epidemic, I believe.  I am going to write more these next weeks on foods we all should be eating that are easy and we won’t vomit trying to eat.

I am going to start with the healing power of sprouts.  I did green drinks from supplements when I was healing from cancer.  I had a hard time with different tastes.

Fresh is always best, but I will include great supplement recommendations since I healed using them also.

There is an incredible healing power of sprouts.
You’re no doubt familiar with the remarkable healing benefits of raw sprouts. Sprouts are nutrient-dense superfoods, and they’re loaded with enzymes, vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients. They even pack a potent anti-cancer punch: Many in the raw foods community consider sprouts to be the most powerful class of cancer-fighting foods in the world, and eating raw broccoli sprouts every day, for example, bathes your body’s cells in a healing stream of anti-cancer nutrients.

The Sproutein product from Sprout Living is brand new, just released days ago. It’s USDA Organic and 100% raw. It contains absolutely no fillers, chemical sweeteners or additives of any kind. Here are the ingredients:

Freeze Dried Sprout Powders (Sunflower Sprouts, Amaranth Sprouts, Millet Sprouts, Flaxseed Sprouts, Kale Sprouts, Quinoa Sprouts, Mung Bean Sprouts, Alfalfa Sprouts), Hempseed Protein Powder, Goji Berry Powder, Black Maca Root Powder, Yacon Root Powder, Lucuma Powder

As astute nutritionists will note, the yacon root and lucuma powder add a touch of sweetness to the formula. The maca root gives a bit of energy, and the goji berry powder offers a wealth of health-boosting phytonutrients.

The kale sprouts, alfalfa sprouts, sunflower sprouts and flaxseed sprouts are all powerful anti-cancer superfoods that many people have used to actually cure advanced-stage cancers. The number of people curing cancer on a raw foods diet is simply astonishing, by the way, and sprouts are one of their main foods.

The flaxseed sprouts offer healthy omega-3 fatty acids, and the quinoa sprouts offer healthy, full-spectrum protein. Together, it’s an impressive formula that really delivers hard-core nutrition to those who want a nutrient-dense form of protein in their diet.
