Living Proof – A Man’s Unusual Prescription for Bone Cancer:

In 1995, 54-year-old Michael Gearin-Tosh was diagnosed with myeloma, a form of cancer affecting the bone marrow. Myeloma is one of the most deadly forms of cancer. Faced with the prospect of chemotherapy, he decided to create his own natural protocol which included:

A Woman is Cured of 3rd Stage Cancer Using Nigella Sativa:

Nigella Sativa (or black seed, as it is more commonly called) is a well-documented cure for many forms of cancer, including pancreatic cancer. Black seed is used to treat everything from migraines to cancer.

A woman in Yemen, suffering from 3rd stage cancer, sought a natural treatment. She was advised to take black seeds with honey three times a day, in addition to garlic and honey, also taken three times per day.

Her husband faithfully crushed the seeds and mixed them with honey. He also crushed the fresh garlic and mixed it with honey. After three months, her cancer disappeared. The woman has continued to use honey and garlic, even after the disappearance of her disease.

Breast Cancer Cure Using a Natural Diet:

Marilyn Brent, breast cancer survivor, has shared her story of survival using a natural cancer plan developed by Solomon J. Wickey. Her plan was very simple, comprised of the following elements:

1. Drink fresh carrot and celery juice every day (1 pint each)

2. Maintain a healthy diet with no animal proteins, no sugars, salts, eggs, dairy, white flour or peanuts.

3. She also took some herbs for 9 weeks, which consisted of: 1 tsp red clover blend, 1 tsp whole apricot extract, 6 food enzymes, 6 parsley, 6 pau d’arco.

4. She avoided cooking in the microwave.

She also walked daily, drank only pure water and prayed a lot.

Amanda’s Cure for Cervical Cancer:

Amanda says she cured her cervical cancer with a raw vegan diet, meditation and yoga. Her cancer diagnosis served as a wake-up call about her unhealthy diet.

I am a German national living in the Philippines with my husband and 4 children since 26 Years.  18 month ago I was diagnosed with Glioblastoma multiforme, the most aggressive and fastest growing of all stage 4 brain tumors.  I had no warning signs like headache, vision problems or any other problems except some tingling and cramping sensations in my leg, which did not really bother me much.

It was back in August 2007, then.  Being a type A person, I didn’t mentioned anything to my husband and 4 children and continued with my busy life.  The sensation became more and more uncomfortable especially when climbing up the 80 steps to our house on the hill, until when suddenly my leg gave way and I fell.   It happened twice in two weeks time.  That’s when I felt that I probably should have a checkup.

My wonderful and very loving husband carried me around.  I was operated in February 2008 in a seven hour awake operation, to avoid as much as possible damage to the many delicate nerves located in the brain.  I felt very calm before and during the operation and was able to comfort my frightened family and friends, telling them that there is nothing to worry since everything will be fine.  I kissed, hugged and smiled at my husband and was rolled into the operating room.

I had a team of fifteen doctors and nurses around me in the operating room.  One of the doctors asked me to pray, since it was not an easy operation.  They prayed, too. They were caring and very concerned.  I felt very secure and safe during all the preparations and had some interesting conversations with them until it was time for the incisions.  I was sedated then for a short time.

Before I fell into a short sleep, I saw myself walking on a straight road in a childlike age, holding hands with my heavenly mother and father, left and right.  I am sure, that it was the source of inspiration, confidence and fearlessness that gave me the strength on a spiritual level.  The love of my husband, children and friends nurtured me on an emotional level.  The care, dedication and professional expertise of the doctors and nurses gave me confidence on a pre- and post operation level.

You see, after my successful operation, we had to wait for a few days for the result of the pathology.  Since I had an awake operation, I understood already during the operation, that the result was not what we hoped for, but I didn’t mentioned anything to anyone.  I used the time instead to prepare myself mentally to comfort and give strength to my family, for what I knew what was coming up next:  It was to deal with a very real Enemy and Threat to your Life:  being diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer is No Joke for Anyone!

Whether you are more afraid of your own life, which is very understandable, or the pain of loss for your husband/wife and children, it is always a dramatic change in the course of your life.

But the good news is, YOU do not have to die from it and Your Life might even change for the better!

I had a very dedicated surgeon, who had performed already more than 1000 brain surgeries by that time, but only fifteen awake surgeries.  Most patients are not willing to give it a try – despite the much lower risk of permanent damage – since the patient is conscious.  I felt no pain during the whole time.  The operation went fine.  After the operation, one of the female doctors asked me how I stayed so calm during the whole procedure.

I answered her that there is an Inner Sanctum, which everybody has inside and that’s where I go. There is no fear, because there is no room for fear.

I spent only the minimum of the post OP requirement of 24 hours in the ICU.  I was very hungry. Instead of swallowing the usual liquid food there, I asked my nurse to tell my surgeon that I needed real food.  Otherwise I would get seriously sick.  I got a full plate of real food.  Coming out of the ICU,  I had already the first 3 visitors in my room and the room was overflowing with flowers. It was nice to be alive.  When the result of the pathology was out, my surgeon had it repeated because he didn’t like the result.  We didn’t like it either. But I told him not to worry about me since I am not going to die now.

I am a fighter and survivor.

He told me, that he had so far never a patient with that diagnosis, who told him not to worry about it…He added that my positive spirit was quite unusual.  I left the hospital 8 days after my operation.  The following evening our Indian and Filipino friends gave a big Thanksgiving Dinner for my survival and my whole family. My surgeon was invited, too.  The usual post OP “Therapy” is Chemo and Radiation.  The oncologist and radiologist told me, that this was my only (slight) chance of survival.  Usually most are gone after 6-12 month with that diagnosis.

I didn’t believe my doctors anyway and listened to my inner voice insteadwhich told me, that it is not my time now and there is another and much better way for me.

I told the doctors that I decided to take the road less traveled and treat myself with purely natural modalities instead.  They gave me 3 weeks until the tumor was to return.  That was back in March 2008.  It is now July 30, 2009. And I am not only alive, but completely cancer free!

My husband and I have spent the last 18 month researching intensively and became completely fascinated by the vast variety of purely alternative methods available to get rid of all kinds of cancers.  I am absolutely convinced, that I would not be alive today,  had I let chemo destroy my immune system with chemo “therapy” or had I let the radiation “treatment” damage the DNA of millions of my healthy cells – which causes cancer to return!  I instead had my immune system seriously boosted and used immune cell therapy and powerful, fresh enzymes to expose the remaining cancer cells to my immune system to kill them.  I also use a variety of alternative methods to clean my cells and all organs from free radicals and toxins.

I believe when we are in a tug of war between our spirit self and our ego self .  When we are in perfect alignment with our spirit self and all that is, God, universe whatever you want to call it, miracles happen.  This is a natural occurance when we are in this state of being.  I believe in miracles every moment.  I believe we were born to express our God self through our physical experience.

When we become distracted by our thoughts and our mind, we are unable to hear our true self speaking to us.

And if so how do we do it?

For so long I thought I was my body, but then there was me watching my body.  If I was watching my body, my body wasn’t me.  I was someone outside of my body.

 I also would watch all these crazy, scary thoughts go through my mind.  I would start thinking about cancer growing through my body, and what if it had spread to all my organs.  What if my cancer had spread to my brain?  Is this the end of my life here?  What is going to happen?  Am I going to suffer terribly in pain?  My poor kids, they didn’t need to see their mommy wasting away and being eaten up by cancer. 

If I wasn’t careful, these thoughts could take me away for a long time.  It is as if the thoughts actually had life or energy themselves, because they kept going.  It almost seemed that they were growing.  Could that be?

Now you think of a time when you were thinking, thinking, and thinking.  Many times it happens as you are trying to go to sleep and you can’t stop your thoughts.  They take you over sometimes for hours or all night.  With those thoughts come worry, fear, anger, anticipation, guilt and many other emotions that don’t feel good.

These emotions have energy too, that flows through you.  If it is negative, think of all the negative energy flowing through you at a time you want to be peaceful and sleep.

As I watched my thoughts, I realized I couldn’t be my thoughts or my mind, because I was watching them.  I was something other than just my thoughts.  I was not my mind.  Who was this ME?

If I was not my body and I was not my thoughts, then I was something outside of them or something other or in addition to them.  If that was the case, then I must have some control or power over my body and my thoughts.  I was something other than my thoughts or my body.  I was body, mind and spirit.

I knew then I had control over my destiny.  I could change my physical body, my thoughts and emotions.  I realized I was more powerful than I ever knew and I had control over what I experienced.  For my entire life, I had thought life was happening to me, that it was outside of me.  I didn’t think I could control what happened to me and what I experienced. 

Then I remembered what Jesus said, that life was at hand, inside all of us.  He said heaven was within each of us.  Is this what He was trying to remind us of?  Had we really forgotten?

God is within each of us.  God says we were created in the likeness and image of Him.  He is in us and us in Him.  We are part of God.

So was this me observing the different parts of me, part of God?  Was this the piece of me that was God?

WOW!!  If that was true…..I knew anything was possible!

Then the next messenger, my plastic surgeon, said he had heard you can heal your body by visualizing it being healed.

Because I have always been open to new things, I thought it was intriguing so I set out on a path to learn about visualizing.  I just went through the motions and did what I read.  I didn’t understand what I was doing or really why, but I was certain it couldn’t hurt me.  And just maybe, what if it helped me.  I practiced visualizing my cancer cells being eated up by the most beautiful white light flowing through my body.  It was really relaxing and peaceful and through the process I really believed I was changing something in me.  Now of course, I didn’t know what I was changing and I didn’t know how it could possibly be changing me, BUT you know it really didn’t matter to me.

This was a big transformation for me…..I had always been the one to question everything.  I had to know how things worked and why.  I asked a million questions and analyzed it tirelessly.

But for some reason unknown at the time, I trusted and I believed and I followed what my messengers were telling me.

Was I moving energy then and didn’t know it????

Mysteriously a tape appeared in my can and I began to listen to it.  It was on Quantum Healing by Deepak Chopra.  I had never heard of the words they were saying, but again I listened and listened and was very curious.

What were these messages?  What were they trying to tell me?  And who was trying to get my attention?

In My Sister’s Keeper, each individual of Ann’s  family was experiencing their own loss and with that all the emotions that accompany it.  Even as parent’s, they couldn’t really see what was happening to Anna and the internal turmoil and external pain she was trying so hard to cope with.  Their only son was lost and forgotten and living in a world unknown to them.  Kate was consumed with pain and guilt for what she was causing her family and especially her sister, Anna.  They were so focussed on Kate and keeping her alive, at all costs, they were unaware of the real “dying” all around them.

When we lose our awareness of this moment, we actually disconnect from what is real.  We are unaware of words, actions, feelings around us.  We are consumed by our mind.  Our mind takes control of our life and then we become our mind.  If we are fortunate to wake up, we wonder HOW DID THIS ALL HAPPEN? 

We saw this played over and over in the movie with Anna and her entire family.  Any tragedy or loss in life can send us in a tailspin.  Its as if we go unconscious………..and we actually do, completely not present and aware.  How powerful and creative we will be when we are able to stay conscious and aware in these moments of tragedy.

When Kate’s kidneys fail, Anna is expected to donate one of her own.   It took Anna to hire a lawyer to be medically emancipated from her parents and gain the right to make the decision herself. Her lawyer, Campbell Alexander, works for her pro bono.

At the end of the book, it is revealed that the reason Anna initiated the lawsuit was that her sister didn’t want her to donate the kidney; Kate was tired of being sick and was ready to die. After the trial, Anna is granted medical emancipation but just as she is about to reveal whether she will donate, she suffers a closed head injury in a car crash and is left brain dead. As Campbell Alexander has power of attorney for Anna, he agrees to the donation.

In the epilogue, it is revealed that Kate survived the transplant, although doctors had thought she might be too weak. Kate believes that the reason she survived is that Anna took her place in heaven.

So who really has the right to decide what is best for us?

Every human soul comes to this earth with a purpose, often unaware of what that purpose is, but deep down there is a tugging of the human mind and body to follow that journey from within.

What is your purpose?

Each person’s purpose is unique to them and I believe agree to long before they enter the human body.  Our purpose sets the course of our life and all others that we touch.  I believe we come together in our relationships for the purpose of assisting ourselves and others to really remember who we are and why we have come here.  We are waking each other up to our true essence.

Each of our experiences are moments for us to learn and remember the God within and the love and power we really are.

Anna’s words of wisdom are an inspiration to all of us.

Anna came into the world via in vitro fertilization, so that she would be a genetic match for her older sister Kate. Kate, the eldest daughter of the Fitzgerald family, was diagnosed with acute promyelocytic leukemia when she was 2 years.   When  Anna was born, her cord blood was donated to her sister, but when the leukemia returned, she then had to donate blood and bone marrow.

When Kate’s kidneys fail, Anna is expected to donate one of her own.  Isn’t this her purpose for being born?

Anna’s parents made the decision to create Anna for the purpose of saving Kate.

Whose purpose is it?  Who really has control over our purpose?

The enormity of these questions, answers and individual decisions is played out in this amazing drama, My Sister’s Keeper.  This is a story of a family struggling through the devastation of cancer.

Because cancer touches every aspect of life.  Every relationship is affected and often challenged.  Every feeling and emotion possible is present.  Finances, school, careers, decision making, home duties, spiritual life, etc. are all touched some times positively and sometimes negatively through a tragedy.

Throughout this story we see how these tough life choices affect each individual of the family.  Mom and dad have different viewpoints and needs and they struggle to keep their relationship together.  While the sole brother of the family seems to disappear in the background.

Cancer or any loss or tragedy can tear a family apart.

Often we wait until a tragedy happens or we are faced with death to really look at ourselves and our lives.  I face dying from cancer to wake up.  Interesting how we often really start living when we are dying.

May this be a reminder for all of us to live NOW, to experience joy NOW, to say the things we want to say NOW, to do the things be want to do NOW….

We don’t know what tomorrow will bring.  Celebrate life NOW!

I would have gone to bed when I was sick instead of pretending the earth would go into a holding pattern if I weren’t there for the day.
 
I would have burned the pink candle sculpted like a rose before it melted in storage.
 
I would have talked less and listened more.
 
I would have invited friends over to dinner even if the carpet was stained, or the sofa faded.
 
I would have eaten the popcorn in the ‘good’ living room and worried much less about the dirt when someone wanted to light a fire in the fireplace.
 
I would have taken the time to listen to my grandfather ramble about his youth.
 
I would have shared more of the responsibility carried by my husband.
 
I would never have insisted the car windows be rolled up on a summer day because my hair had just been teased and sprayed.
 
I would have sat on the lawn with my grass stains.

I would have cried and laughed less while watching television and more while watching life.
 
I would never have bought anything just because it was practical, wouldn’t show soil, or was guaranteed to last a lifetime.
 
Instead of wishing away nine months of pregnancy, I’d have cherished every moment and realized that the wonderment growing inside me was the only chance in life to assist God in a miracle.

When my kids kissed me impetuously, I would never have said, ‘Later. Now go get washed up for dinner.’ There would have been more ‘I love you’s’ More ‘I’m sorry’s.’

But mostly, given another shot at life, I would seize every minute, look at it and really see it, live it and never give it back. STOP SWEATING THE SMALL STUFF!!!

 Don’t worry about who doesn’t like you, who has more, or who’s doing what
 Instead, let’s cherish the relationships we have with those who do love us.

One woman who is 86 years old worked hard her whole life causing her to experiencing physical pain in her lower back.  They do everything they can to relieve pain including giving pain medication.  Her family also requests a massage therapist to come in and work on their mother to try to make her as comfortable as possible.

One day the massage therapist came in and suggested she only do hands on energy healing that day. 

 Energy healing is a somewhat broad term for any form of healing that smooths out, manipulates, restores or balances the flow of energy in the body. It may include subtle energy healing, the laying on of hands, polarity therapy, Reiki and others.

The therapist held her hands on this woman’s lower back.  The therapist is a vehicle or conduit for energy to flow from God to the woman in need of healing.  After a short time the woman was dripping with sweat from the heat coming from her body.  My friend looked in awe at the therapist and she too was sweating. 

My friend almost cried in the beauty of what she was witnessing.  Later the woman had no back pain.

I love hearing these stories of healing modalities.  There are so many healing tools available.  I am grateful for the healing I experienced from energy work also.  There is cancer support and support for all illnessess available.  Trust and believe.  Miracles happen every day.
