This week I have had several calls and messages of people dealing with a new diagnosis of cancer or a reoccurance.

My heart goes out to each of you as you travel this journey.  Sadness and fear are part of the experience and a natural part of being human.  Feel the emotions and know you are never alone.  Know that there is always hope.  Reach out to those who love you and ask for what you want.  This is a time to be clear on what you want.  Do you know?

Spend some time in quiet, in prayer, in meditation and write down what you really want.  Until you are clear on what these things really are, it is impossible for them to occur.  Stay present right now and listen to that voice within waiting to be heard.  It is easier for us to get lost in the activities of the day or week or year.  What could be more important right now?

When we get lost in the activites and emotions of activity, we lose the connection of our wisdom.  We are too distracted to hear or know.  Life is a struggle.  We do this out of habit, this is what we have always done.  We don’t remember that we can access a wisdom within us to make this journey easier.
